Chef Sabatino Pezzella

I always worked in Boston and I started my career in the food industry at John Hancock in 1979 and worked my way up the ladder and culminated many awards as I became  their Executive Chef. I had the pleasure on working on many high profile accounts such as the Boston Marathon and catered many well known celebrities. I also created many famous dishes and produced a catering manual that was exclusively created for the company. I then moved onto Sodexo and I worked at MIT in Cambridge, MA as their Executive Chef. In addition, to my many duties as their Senior Executive Chef I was able to oversee and cater many events including those held for Doctor Bill Cosby.  Later on in my career I was appointed to work on another account which was at UMASS  Boston. My part was to oversee this food service account and I handled many facets such as buying, purchasing and overseeing catering events for the Kennedy's and Governor Deval Patrick.  Presently I work at Chartwells as their Production Manager at Northeastern University and I oversee the process of ensuring quality control along with food safety for over six thousand students.
